The Netherlands Development Organization (SVN) have approved an education project of EU 160,000 for RCFEE.
The project aming at capacity development on Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) and Environmental Impact Accessment (EIA)
The training program will provide trainee with modern techniques of data collection, spatial data analysis, and modelling and scenario development for environmental assessments. They will acquire skills and techniques to obtain frequent and timely information about the potential of land units in relation to land use options and impacts of AR-CDM projects. They will also become familiar with tools and techniques to carry out independent research with regard to environmental assessments, scenario development and impact assessments. After completion of the training they will be able to provide and use relevant, timely and up-to date information to support development and screening of AR-CDM projects.
Totaly 16 RCFEE members and stafff from partner organziations such as FSVI, Vietnam University of Foresty, and Department of Forestry (DoF) will participate in the education project.
